What Happens During a Mold Inspection?

What Happens During a Mold Inspection?
One of the big questions we are often asked is what do we do when we conduct a mold inspection. Probably the best way to demonstrate this is by showing you.
Our founder and President, James C. Watson, has been actively engaged in interacting with individuals concerned about mold. In addition to swabbing suspect areas for mold which we send to a micro-biology laboratory to identify the types of molds, we also do visual inspections and if necessary, will request that an air quality test be done to measure the spore count. Below are two videos of recent inspections. Enjoy!
As a final note, during inspections our staff may use respirators to avoid breathing in mold spores. Mold, indeed, is a growing concern because it can harm your health. For a complete catalog of 40 articles on Mold and Illness click here.
