Our President & CEO of got mold? James C. Watson was in the area offering consultation to those effected by the devastating flood and his company was pushed away by many wanting the Government to aid and assist with the flooding. Over 1000 people were effected by the flooding. Many residents were very pleased with the results they received from having got mold? at the scene to assist with the remediation process. In Watsons words ” it’s not about killing mold, but about properly filtering it and removing it from the air so that it’s not in the environment.”
Once the state of emergency was lifted, residents were able to return home to begin salvaging what was left of their homes. But thousands of homeowners found their residences, particularly the basements, soaked from the floodwater. The focus immediately shifted to repair and restoration, but the water damage caused pockets of mold packed with e.coli to spread throughout the homes and continue to spread through out the homes.
According to accounts from home insurers based in High River & Calgary over 100,000 homes in the community suffered unprecedented flooding damages as a result of the Alberta floods. Watson says the size of the disaster resulted in many contractors fast-tracking their analysis of the damages, leaving many homes still unsuitable for new building supplies like drywall. At this time got mold? is available to perform mold inspections and air sampling in High River, Calgary and all of Alberta.
