Position Overview: We are a growing remediation and restoration company that offers its employees great base salaries as well as an attractive incentive plan for helping us secure work and deliver exceptional quality results. got mold? specializes in finding and fixing sources of unhealthy indoor air; radon, mold, asbestos, fire, flood, and sewer. We are expanding and looking for an individual to lead our team in Edmonton. We’re looking for a full-time Area Manager for Edmonton who has experience in construction, home inspection, and/or disaster recovery and is looking to move into a leadership role and join a growing company with a lot of potential.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Team management
  • Team recruitment, training, development, and support
  • Directing and supervising on construction sites

Job Duties

  • Achieve sales targets
  • Maintaining and increasing standards of customer service
  • Negotiate agreements and contracts with architects, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors.
  • Evaluate the methods and costs of plans.
  • Apply for and obtain permits or licenses.
  • Determine labour requirements for dispatching workers to construction sites.
  • Develop and/or implement Safety and Environmental Protection Programs
  • Assemble supplies or materials to complete construction projects
  • Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines.
  • Develop and/or implement quality control programs.
  • Perform or contract others to perform prebuilding assessments
  • Inspect or review projects for compliance with building and safety codes.
  • Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and/or cost tracking reports
  • Deadline details & reporting

Optimal Experience

  • Project Management: 3 years
  • Supervising: 2 years
  • Construction Management: 3 years
  • Inspect or review projects for compliance with building and safety codes.
  • Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and/or cost tracking reports
