This project was completed in sequential phases between October 2017 and April 2018 and included high-risk asbestos abatement of spray-applied asbestos fireproofing from thirty-foot ceilings and removal of vermiculite from the block walls of a vacant banking institution. Enhanced security clearances were necessary by all team members due to the nature and location of the project. An independent third-party consultant was assigned to the project by the Government of Canada to help ensure that all abatement was completed in accordance with provincial legislation. CCR Construction was the general contractor for this project.
